Last year was one of the hardest years of my life. I was trying to study for my final year exams at university, but money was particularly tight and I was having to supplement my income with part time work. Balancing the two things was nigh on impossible but with just a couple of months to go before my first exams, I managed to earn enough money to be able to enlist the help of a home tutor.
This tutor turned out to be fantastic. I suddenly found that all of the things that before made no sense to me were starting to be a little bit clearer. The trouble with University is that you get lectured to. There is no explanation of anything really. You get told things and then you have to use those facts to present your own work. The great thing with my tutor was that she was able to explain things to me and actually practically go through the problems which meant that in the end I would be able to understand just about anything she told me.
Having now finished my exams I know for sure that the grades I achieved are far and away beyond what I would have been capable of had I gone it alone. My tutor helped to raise my level at University and for that I had to thank her.
I went online and found some beautiful roses which I knew she loved. I don’t know what she thought of them, but I am sure they brightened her day.
